Accessibility statement

This statement applies to ibukunkuti.com, my personal portfolio. I want as many people as possible to be able to use it. You should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen
  • move around the whole site using just a keyboard, including the photo rows that scroll sideways
  • read every page on a small phone screen without scrolling sideways
  • turn on reduced motion in your device settings to stop animations
  • use the site with a screen reader, because each page has a clear heading structure, landmarks and text alternatives for images

How accessible this website is

As far as I know, the whole site meets the standard. Anything that moves on its own stops within 5 seconds, and all animation stops if you turn on reduced motion.

Reporting problems

If you find a problem that is not listed here, or you need something in a different format, please email me. Tell me which page you were on and what went wrong, and I will look into it.

Technical information

I aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. It is fully compliant with that standard.

How I tested this website

I last tested the site on 17 October 2026. I:

  • ran automated checks with axe-core on every page, which found no failures
  • moved through each page using only a keyboard and checked that focus is always visible
  • measured the colour contrast of text against its background
  • checked each page at 320, 375, 390, 768, 1024, 1280 and 1440 pixels wide

I have not yet tested the site with a screen reader.
